Toad.Network LP Farm
The LP Farm on Toad Network is an incentivized RivrDoge/MOVR LP farm which pays their native farming reward token, PAD (in this case MOVR-PAD). The Toad.Network concept is dense, but the RivrDoge Team is very excited about this project. Their documents can be explored here and their Telegram is a fun and lively place to get questions answered as well!
A key difference between their exchange (PadSwap) and others is the backing of the “vault” for their native reward tokens. Various fees are collected on deposits and from exchange fees which “soft locks” tokens in the PadSwap vault. PAD can be redeemed for a proportional share of the vault. The vault acts as a “floor price” for the PAD token. Because of this, the APRs for the farm will look unusually low for a new farm, but will increase over the coming days (until the RivrDoge Crew shows these Toads how we can fill up the Swamp!). There is A LOT more to learn about this project, but the key takeaways for RivrDoge farmers before you deposit are:
- There is a 1% fee on deposits AND withdrawals when staking your LP, which feeds the VAULT;
- The 0.3% transaction fee provides for 0.05% to go directly to the VAULT instead of the dev team;
- The VAULT acts as a backing for your PAD; and
- The fees going into the VAULT function as a “soft lock” for RivrDoge tokens — meaning every transaction for RivrDoge (buy or sell!) has an upward impact on the price!
Rubic.Exchange to Get to MOVR
Toad.Network users reading this article are most likely aware of the Toad bridge for TOAD tokens to Moonriver, but the RivrDoge Team also received word that Rubic integrated RivrDoge yesterday. This means you can purchase RivrDoge directly from the Binance Smart Chain using your BSC assets! What a great way to get assets onto Moonriver to start farming PAD! This transfer has a fee associated with it, but the RivrDoge Team found it easy and not more expensive than other bridging services!
